Seeing that old journal entry on my front-page from 9months ago was depressing me. I've just got my school results for my last year at school. I got 6 distinctions out of 7 subjects. Stoke.

Year 2006=
1st year in Graphic Design school... hmmm, apparently the 1st year is all about the lecturers breaking your spirits by making you use gouche paints and markers -> no computers. Should be fun.

The band is going to be fully rocking 24/7 this year. Hopefully my plans to get some of my dream equipment shipped from the States works out in the end.

I've had all the time in the world to draw but none of that stuff... what do they call it... creativity? inspiration? fresh ideas?
I'm not even sure what style, medium, subject matter I want to work with anymore. I look around and it seems that everyone has their "thing" which they do. Even if that "thing" is as crappy as badly drawn chibi characters. I don't have a "thing". Just look at my gallery. It's full of totally unconnected and random works.
Hopefully this graphic design course will give me some focus and direction.
